What else is there to say about this masterpiece? My wife and I watch this every year and every year we have a great time watching and discussing this film.

The ending was just awful. The rest of the film was fun but its hard to recommend when I know how much of a let down the ending was. It helps to think of this movie as a origin story for Blade.

Where the kids had chemistry their adult versions don't. Each are good actors but they just don't bounce off each other the way the kids do. A classic Steven King ending and that is not a compliment. I saw this in theaters with my wife and her perfectly timed and snide remark broke the tension in the final battle in a way that I will never forget.

The chemistry between the kids is what makes this work. They clapback and have fun with each other. The best parts of the movie and when they are just kids. Bill Skarsgård has so much fun as the Pennywise.

I saw this in theaters when I was 6. We couldn't finish the movie. I was petrified. A great movie if you want to introduce your kids to Eartha Kitt.
