When I was 9 this blew my mind. I had the tie-in books, comics and never missed an episode. Upon rewatches as an adult this show was before its time, by a decade or better. And that doomed it. Easily comparable to the best of Battlestar Galactica in the mid-2000s. If I had infinite money I would reboot this show.
A-I was there, on the first run. I did my best to watch it but when it was moved to different time slots I wasn't too pressed. Look. This is a good TV show elevated to perceived greatness by the Wheadon sycophants and sweaty nerds. Of all the canceled properties on Fox I think this has the most potential.
